What is it?
You can customise your Plan✕ workspace to your council theme, so users get a seamless experience.
What information is needed?
You will need to provide:
Required
- A brand theme colour, as described by a web colour (or ‘HEX’) code, e.g
#1379ab
. This colour will be used as the background to the page header. The chosen colour must be sufficiently dark to provide sufficient contrast when used behind white text, and will be automatically checked when saving the setting.
- Your council's logo, ideally as a .svg or large .png. This should be white, or clearly visible when set onto your theme colour. The background should be transparent. The logo will be displayed in the page header.
Optional
- A button colour (HEX code). This colour will be applied to primary buttons. The colour can be either dark or light, PlanX will determine automatically if white or black text should be used for the button. If no primary action colour is selected, the brand theme colour will be used.
- A text link colour (HEX code). This colour will be applied to secondary or text links. The colour should be dark enough to contrast with white (
#ffffff
). If no primary action colour is selected, the brand theme colour will be used.
- Your council favicon logo. This should be an .ico file sized 32x32px. The favicon will be visible in the browser tab.

<img src="/icons/help-alternate_gray.svg" alt="/icons/help-alternate_gray.svg" width="40px" /> What if I only know the RAL or Pantone? If you have a RAL or Pantone code you can use a RAL to HEX converter or a Pantone to HEX converter
