One of our focus areas for 2023-2025 is making it easier for other software to integrate with Plan✕.

Current integration with Back-office systems

You can currently use Plan✕ to:

• Submit applications to an email address
• Submit applications to a Microsoft Share Point folder via Power Automate
• Submit applications to BOPs (all statutory application types)
• Submit applications to Uniform (Apply for a Lawful Development Certificate only)

You cannot yet use Plan✕ to:

• Submit other types of application to Uniform (integration work on this is currently in progress)
• Submit to other back-office systems

We aim to support these by the first half of 2025.

Connectors

We are working with existing and new back-office system providers to support MHCLG as they co-develop new JSON data standards for planning applications, and digital infrastructure that will make it easier for different planning tools to connect and share data. Using these, Plan✕ will ‘push’ applications to back-office systems automatically when an application is received.
